Made in Seto, Aichi Prefecture using the traditional Akazu ware technique, each piece is individually hand-formed using methods unchanged for centuries.

The Ash Shino glaze is what stays with you. Soft and quietly complex, the grey-white surface shifts in tone depending on the light

We love using ours for matcha. The wide form makes it easy to whisk directly in the bowl, and the small lip lets you pour cleanly over cold milk for an effortless matcha latte. It works just as naturally as a small serving dish for olives, dipping sauce, or a single thoughtful portion alongside a meal.

INSTRUCTIONS

Hand wash only with mild detergent and warm water. Not suitable for dishwasher or microwave. Dry thoroughly after washing. As with all unglazed areas of pottery, avoid prolonged soaking.
