At RE:FORM, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We believe that good design not only enhances living spaces but also respects the environment and our communities. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the following principles:
1. Ethical Sourcing: We carefully curate products from around the world, partnering with artisans and brands that share our values. Each piece is crafted using responsibly sourced materials, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint while supporting fair labor practices. We proudly produce some of our products in a renowned porcelain factory in Hanoi, Vietnam, run by the Hang family in collaboration with a Danish company. Supported by the Danish government, our production meets international labor standards, providing safe environments, insurance, health programs, and empowering opportunities for Vietnamese women.
2. Natural, Recycled, and Certified Materials: We prioritize the use of natural, organic, and recycled materials in our collections. Many of our textiles are OEKO-TEX certified, ensuring they are free from harmful substances and produced in an environmentally friendly manner. Our woven products are crafted using traditional techniques, blending sustainable materials with quality craftsmanship to create timeless pieces that enhance any home.
3. Longevity Over Fast Fashion: We focus on timeless designs that are meant to last, moving away from disposable trends. Our goal is to offer high-quality pieces that not only look good but also stand the test of time, encouraging a more mindful approach to consumption.
4. Circular Economy Initiatives: We aim to create a circular economy within our brand, offering repair services and encouraging the upcycling of products. By extending the life cycle of our pieces, we minimize waste and contribute to a more sustainable future.
