Akari 50EN | 70EN | Pendant Light
Designed by Isamu Noguchi , the Akari pendant is a modern take on the traditional Japanese paper lantern. Its wide, low shade is made from washi paper stretched over bamboo ribs, handcrafted by the Ozeki workshop in Gifu, Japan.
The light is soft and warm, like sunlight through a shoji screen. Choose the 50cm for smaller dining tables, bedrooms and hallways, or the 70cm for living rooms, larger dining tables and high ceilings. Lightweight, and a beautiful way to add a sculptural touch to any space.
