Copper Kettle
Handcrafted by artisans in Tsubamesanjo, Niigata Prefecture. Pure copper body with a nickel-lined interior for fast, efficient heat conduction. Lightweight yet durable, with a capacity of approximately 2.18 litres, easy to handle in daily use.
Copper naturally offers antibacterial properties and helps break down residual chlorine, making it an ideal material for a kettle. The surface is intentionally left uncoated, allowing it to gradually oxidise over time, shifting from a bright golden copper to a deep, rich amber. This evolving patina is part of the unique beauty of copper.
With proper care, this kettle will be a lasting companion for years to come.
Please Note This kettle is designed for gas stoves only. Do not heat empty. Keep the water level above the base of the spout and below the brim to avoid overflow or spout detachment.
Slight oxidation may be visible on the surface when unpacked, this is normal and does not affect use.
-Hand wash only. -After each use, wipe dry with a soft cloth. If necessary, gently clean with a soft sponge and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. -Avoid vigorous scrubbing to prevent discoloration or surface scratches. -To restore shine, gently polish with a dry soft cloth.
