Black Folklore Large Bowl
The Folklore series takes inspiration from traditional Japanese pottery, reworked with clean, modern lines. This bowl features a wide, flared shape that feels open and generous on the table.
Made from Shigaraki clay and hand-glazed in Kurogaki by skilled craftsmen, the glaze is brushed on rather than dipped, leaving subtle circular brush strokes across the surface. The black shifts with warm brown and charcoal tones, creating a naturally varied finish that changes with the light.
At 23cm across and 6.4cm deep, its wide, flared shape gives it a strong presence on the table. Perfect for curry, ramen, udon, or as a generous salad bowl.
