Black Folklore Plate 24cm
The Folklore series is inspired by traditional Japanese pottery, with a clean, wide rim that works naturally on both Japanese and European-style tables.
Made from Shigaraki clay and hand-glazed in Kurogaki by skilled craftsmen, the glaze is brushed on rather than dipped, leaving subtle circular brush strokes across the surface. The black shifts with warm brown and charcoal tones, creating a naturally varied finish that changes with the light.
At around 24cm, it’s a versatile size for everyday meals, sharing dishes, or brunch. The wide rim leaves plenty of space for simple, thoughtful plating.
