Hinoki Wood Onigiri Press Mould - Large

Made from uncoated Japanese hinoki cypress, this large onigiri mould creates rice shapes that are consistently even and beautifully defined every time.

With a built-in pressing mechanism, the process is simple: fill with rice, press gently, and release. The natural hinoki wood carries a subtle antibacterial quality and a soft cedar-like fragrance, making the experience of preparing onigiri genuinely enjoyable.

We recommend soaking the mould in water briefly before each use to help prevent rice from sticking and to keep the wood in good condition over time.

The double-hole large mould allows you to make two onigiri at once, each using approximately 190g of rice — a generous single-serve portion. Typically, 1–2 pieces make a satisfying meal, depending on appetite, making it ideal for lunch or meal prep.
