From the historic craft town of Gifu, Japan, this round tray is made using the traditional wappa technique, the same centuries-old bent wood artistry behind Japan's beloved bento boxes and handcrafted tableware.

At 30cm, it's a size that feels both purposeful and generous. Use it as a serving tray for breakfast, afternoon tea, or light snacks, as a decorative centrepiece on a dining or coffee table, or to style candles, small plants, and everyday objects around your home.It is also for direct contact with food.

INSTRUCTIONS

-Clean gently using a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Wipe dry thoroughly before storing in a cool, dry place, away from moisture, direct sunlight, and heat.
