DETAILS

Handwoven from kraft paper tape by a craftsman in Tono City, Iwate, Japan, this basket is lightweight, durable and quietly refined. Each piece varies slightly in colour and shape, reflecting the nature of the material and the handmade process.

Keep it by the front door for mail, keys and sunglasses. Fill it with tea towels and napkins on the kitchen bench, or with beanies and scarves on a wardrobe shelf. Carry it to the weekend market for bread and flowers, or let it hold dried stems in the living room.
