This bath bucket is handcrafted in Japan from natural Hiba wood. Hiba is a native cypress known for its antibacterial, moisture-resistant properties and its soft, calming wood scent, making it ideal for bathroom use.

We like using it to scoop water and pour it over the body while bathing, creating a calm, onsen-like moment at home. It also works beautifully for storing bathroom essentials

In Japan, this type of wooden bucket has long been part of bathing rituals, used before entering an onsen or bath to pour water over the body. The warmth of wood feels more natural than plastic or metal, and it holds heat well, making each use feel more considered and relaxing.

INSTRUCTIONS

Hand wash with water only. Avoid detergents, direct sunlight, and long soaking to prevent warping or cracking. Wipe dry after use and store in a dry, well-ventilated place. As wood is a natural material, it may expand or contract with humidity. If the copper rings loosen, reposition them and add water to the bowl to help the wood expand and secure them again.
