DETAILS

The vase is hand-carved using the traditional Shinogi technique, creating fine vertical grooves. The darker clay beneath peeks through, contrasting subtly with the soft gray-beige glaze.

The handle curves gently, and the glaze pools naturally during firing, giving small glossy highlights. The piece combines crafted order with the randomness of clay and kiln fire.

Compact and charming, it looks lovely on a desk or table. Add a slender flower or dried grass, or leave it empty , it’s a small piece that stands out on its own.
