DETAILS

KAMENOKO TAWASHI was founded over 100 years ago in Tokyo, Japan. Before its invention, small bundles of straw or rope were commonly used for cleaning.

“TAWASHI” refers to a handleless hand brush made from natural fibers. Crafted with durable palm fibers coiled around a metal wire, its bristles have moderate firmness, making it perfect for removing dirt from root vegetables and cleaning colander meshes without damaging your kitchenware. Built to last, this iconic TAWASHI has a lifespan three times longer than similar brushes and is ideal for cleaning iron frying pans and other kitchen tools.
