The wood is naturally air-dried for 3 to 6 months without chemical treatments, preserving Hinoki’s oil-rich structure, natural fragrance, and durability.

At Tosaryu, the forest is treated with deep gratitude, and every part of the tree—from trunk to branches and leaves—is carefully used to reduce waste and CO₂ emissions. For example, Hinoki leaves are distilled into essential oils, while branches are turned into aromatic flakes.
